Hats off to service users and staff at a Balby-based day service for people with learning disabilities who held a ‘hat-a-thon’, raising over £100 for Comic Relief.

Service users at the Solar Centre, which is run by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH), made their own Comic Relief Hats, while Staff Nurse Mark Coley completed a challenge to wear 50 hats throughout the day, at the same time as trampolining and entertaining service users with his ukulele.

Mark said: “Red Nose Day is all about dressing up and challenging yourself to do something silly, so I did both – much to the amusement of our service users and staff!

“Everyone had a fantastic time and it was lovely to see everyone having so much fun!”
