The Integrated Doncaster Care Record goes live on Friday 23 March 2018. It’s is an electronic record which allows health and care professionals in Doncaster to quickly and securely access medical information about you while they are caring for you.
When you come into contact with health and social care services in Doncaster, staff will ask you for permission to view your Integrated Doncaster Care Record.
- give your consent for a professional to see your record every time you come into contact with care services; or
- give on-going consent to anyone involved in your care so you don’t have to be asked again.
If you choose to opt out of sharing your record, information about you will not be available via the integrated Doncaster Care Record (IDCR)
Our colleagues at the Clinical Commissioning Group have produced an information leaflet to help you understand the importance and value of the IDCR to you and the people who care for you. Please click on the following link to download it: All about the Integrated Doncaster Care Record
