Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) is proud to host the UK’s first Community Research Hub with a focus specifically on engaging communities.
It has been proven that taking part in research helps the NHS to drive up standards of care, improve patient outcomes and generate efficiencies across our multiple services.
The Community Research Hub, which acts as a Community Clinical Research Facility (CCRF), offers the following services:
- Opportunities to engage in research through, for example, undertaking Good Clinical Practice training, being a participant in a study or becoming a Patient Research Ambassador.
- Specialist advice regarding the design, conduct, regulation and implementation of research.
- A clinical treatment room with specialist equipment.
- Office space, IT facilities and meeting rooms for partnership working.
Our Grounded Research Team manage the Community Research Hub which is located at Almond Tree Court, Woodfield Park, Tickhill Road, Doncaster. There is ample free parking on site, lovely open green spaces and a fantastic Walled Garden and Tea Rooms.
