The St John’s day therapy unit, located at St John’s Hospice, supports patients with life-limiting conditions by improving quality of life and managing symptoms. Through guided activities and connections with others, we help you achieve personal goals and enhance well-being.
The St John’s day therapy unit offers a range of sessions, and during your initial assessment, we will help determine the best options for you. Sessions are typically in group settings, though one-to-one sessions may be arranged when needed. They can be full or half-day sessions or in a clinic-style format.
Depending on the sessions you attend, you may have access to:

- one-to-one assessments and support
- complementary therapies or hairdressing (mainly free of charge, with a small fee for certain treatments)
- offer of complementary therapies or hairdressing (free of charge apart from a small charge for certain treatments)
- referrals to other services
- a variety of information resources
