I volunteer because:
“I have always been used to helping people in the community, having spent the latter part of my working life as a warden to the senior citizens, so when the warden service came to an end, I was delighted to be offered the opportunity to volunteer at various different types of children’s and baby services.
“This gives me an excellent chance to meet and help the mothers and their children and babies, and have struck up numerous long standing friendships.”
