Visiting times

Osprey, Sandpiper and Goldcrest

  • Monday to Friday: 3pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm
  • Weekends/public holidays: 2pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8pm

Kingfisher

Visiting by appointment, please contact the ward manager.

Visiting areas

Most visits occur on the wards. However, if any of the visitors are aged under 18, or if anything confidential or potentially upsetting needs to be discussed, we have a family room, which can be pre-booked through the ward staff.

Meal times

  • Breakfast 8am to 9am
  • Lunch 12pm to 1pm
  • Tea 5pm to 6pm.

Patients have access to their mobile phones during their stay, although this is restricted on the Kingfisher ward for safety reasons.

There is a public telephone outside the entrance to Sandpiper and Osprey wards.

Finance office

Our finance office is situated in our reception and can be used by patients for the storage of money, bank cards and items such as house keys, which they may not wish to keep in their personal safe.

gardensSmoking

Swallownest Court is a no smoking site. However, there are designated smoking areas for patients only within the gardens. We also offer advice and support for people who may wish to stop or cut down on their smoking during their stay.
