We see children aged four to 19 years with continence problems who are registered with a Doncaster GP.
We accept referrals from GPs, hospital consultants, health professionals and parents.
We offer children a holistic assessment of their continence needs, with a treatment plan agreed with parents and the child to promote continence.
We may provide disposable or washable products after assessment by the specialist nurses.
For nocturnal enuresis, we see children aged of 6 ½ years and over, and provide alarm therapy and medications according to their treatment plan.
We provide support to parents and schools for children with complex needs and undertake continence management plans in schools to support children with autism or learning disabilities.
We also provide education and work closely with other services such as school nurses, health visitors, social workers, schools, GPs, paediatricians and children and young people’s mental health services.
