School Age Vaccinations

The Vaccination and Immunisation Team consists of Registered Nurses and Health Care Support Workers who deliver the National School Age Programme of Immunisations in Doncaster and North Lincolnshire. These programmes are delivered in schools and may also be delivered at home or in a pre-arranged venue for children not in main stream school.

We deliver adolescent immunisations which include:

HPV in school years 8 and 9 click here.

MenACWY and Td/IPV to all children in year 9 click here.

In addition we deliver the National Flu Programme to all children in Reception, Year 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 click here.

Your child’s school is notified of the date that the Vaccination and Immunisation Team will be in school administering vaccines. They will be given letters, consent forms and information leaflets to distribute to all children eligible for each specific vaccine. We ask that parents complete the consent form and return to school the week before the session is due to take place.
