Multi-disciplinary team

Patients are under the care of a consultant psychiatrist and an associate doctor and are also allocated a named nurse and a nursing team, who will co-ordinate an individual plan of care.

Other professionals involved in assessing and planning care include an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, dietician, speech and language therapist, social worker, re-ablement worker and pharmacist. We are also supported by a team of housekeepers, who maintain the cleanliness of the ward and provide support at meal times.

All members of staff wear a name badge and some members of the team wear uniform.
