Trust is committed to the Triangle of Care membership scheme. The Triangle of Care is a therapeutic alliance between patient, staff and carer that promotes safety, supports recovery and sustains wellbeing.
There are six key elements (standards) required to achieve better collaboration and partnership with carers and services are required to complete a self-assessment audit to measure carer engagement.
The Triangle of Care Steering Group meets bi-monthly to provide a strategic and operational steer for the Trust’s submissions and associated work plan in support of the Triangle of Care programme. The steering group benefits from the active involvement of Carer Governors and other carer representatives.
Friends and Relatives Carers’ Charter
In January 2018 the Carer Champion Network along with local carers were asked to co-produce a Trust wide Friends and Relatives Carer’s Charter. We are now pleased to announce that the Charter was approved in October 2018, introduced to the Carer Champion Network in December and is fully supported by our Board of Directors and our 4 Care Groups. Over the coming weeks, the Charter will be distributed to all RDaSH services. Thank you to everyone who contributing to the development of our Charter.
