Patient and Public Engagement and Experience Strategy (PPEE)

Patient and public engagement is at the heart of the care we provide at RDaSH. During 2016 we worked with patients, carers, volunteers, peer support workers, parents, governors, foundation trust members and partners to genuinely co-produce our Patient and Public Engagement and Experience Strategy, which provides a more inclusive approach to patient and public involvement.

The actions associated with the PPEE Strategy will drive us to deliver more user-friendly and user-led services. Although not an exhaustive list these actions are considered to be achievable in the shorter term. It is important to note, however that these actions will also support the efforts to enable patients to shape the research agenda also, and will provide opportunities for them to engage in the management, implementation, dissemination and utilisation of research.
