Doncaster’s hospice is on the look-out for volunteer drivers. So if you’ve some spare time and would like to volunteer – we’d love to hear from you.
The volunteer drivers help day hospice patients to get to and from St John’s Hospice, off of Weston Road, Balby.
Drivers take patients to day hospice for 10am and take them home at 3pm. Volunteers can pick and choose the times and days that they help out.
Lindsey Richards, who manages the volunteers at the hospice, said: “If you’d like to come and volunteer, or if you have some questions about volunteering at our hospice, please get in touch with me. Volunteering is really rewarding and our patients and staff really appreciate your efforts.”
Drivers use their own cars but receive expenses to cover their fuel.
For more details or to volunteer please call Lindsey on 01302 796662.
