You said, We listened

You said, We listened.

You said: “Are we still having face to face consultations”

We listened: Face to face has not yet been replaced by digital – we are encouraging digital access in many services where clinically and personally appropriate.

Digital will be one of the ways we use engagement methods, which include:

  • Face to face
  • Telephone
  • Video conferencing
  • e-Clinic apps
  • Written
  • Text messaging

You said: “Can I have help to use digital technology”

We listened: You may be asked to engage digitally – we would encourage that you consider this when recommended.

The RDaSH IT team are working hard to help you connect digitally to our services using smartphones and tablets providing step by step guides giving you the knowledge and skills to connect.

Key facts about digital care:

  • It has been tried and tested
  • Accessible
  • Flexible
  • Reducing stigma
  • More discreet than attending a face to face appointment
