How we can help
The community eating disorder service which is part of the child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) is a specialist service which assesses and treats children and young people aged 0 to 19.
The service treats children and young people with eating disorders including:
- anorexia nervosa
- bulimia nervosa
- binge eater disorder
The service offers a range of interventions including:
- family based treatment and approach
- cognitive behavioural therapy
- adolescent focused therapy
- guided self help
Non-urgent advice: How to get help
Community eating disorders service accepts referrals from professionals, as well as self-referrals. Please refer by calling us on 01302 566 980.
