Pelvic floor dysfunction

Pelvic floor dysfunction is when the pelvic floor muscles do not work properly, causing bladder, bowel, or pelvic symptoms.

  • Pelvic floor exercises

Pelvic floor muscles are a group of muscles that support the bladder, bowel, and uterus, helping to control continence, support the pelvis, and contribute to sexual function.

  • Post-micturition dribble

Post-micturition dribble is the involuntary leakage of a small amount of urine after finishing urination, caused by urine remaining in the urethra.

  • Sphincter exercises

Bowel sphincter exercises help strengthen the muscles around the anus, improving bowel control and reducing leakage of gas or stool.
