Constitution annex 3, the service users and carers constituency

1 Criteria for eligibility

Subject to the provisions of paragraph 9 of the constitution, individuals who have attended any of the trust’s hospitals as a service user, or as the carer of a service user, and, or received goods or services from the trust of the nature set out in table 1 (below)  or such other goods and services as the trust may otherwise designate from time to time for the purposes of determining eligibility for membership of this constituency, may become or continue as a member of the service users and carers constituency.

2 Membership of the service users and carers constituency

The minimum membership is 40 members.

3 Governors

The service users and carers constituency shall elect 9 governors.
