There is currently a large-scale incident taking place close to trust’s Swallownest Court site in Aston, Rotherham.
The incident involves a significant fire at a neighbouring commercial property containing a number of coaches and buses. Emergency services are in attendance and managing the situation.
Swallownest Court is not directly involved, and we would like to reassure patients, visitors and the public that all staff and patients on site are safe.
Access to Swallownest Court may, however, be significantly affected while the emergency services continue their response. Anyone due to attend the site is advised to allow extra time and, where necessary, contact the site in advance.
