Crisis

Located in Rotherham, Doncaster and North Lincolnshire.

Our crisis service is for you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, feeling suicidal and in need of urgent support to keep you or a loved one safe.

How we can help

Our crisis team can help if you need urgent mental health support. This includes times when you might otherwise need to go to hospital for your mental health.

We offer a range of support accessible to everyone, offering triage, advice, signposting to other support services, and follow-up appointments. We also conduct thorough face-to-face assessments and consultations.

Urgent advice: Emergency mental health support

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, please phone crisis support for free on the numbers below:

Lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The phone will be answered by NHS call handling staff, who will take your details and the reason for your call, forward this on to your local Crisis team who will call you back.

Children and young people

If your child needs mental health support, please call our Children and Young People’s Crisis team on 03000 218 996.

Who can call?

You can call for yourself, or someone else. NHS111 is for all ages, including children and young people and those with neurodevelopmental needs.

If you aren’t able to make the call yourself, then anyone can call on your behalf, for example a friend, carer, loved one or even your GP. You can also access NHS111 online.

The service is available to anyone, currently living across the whole of England and facing a mental health crisis, which could include:

  • changes to your mood
  • withdrawing from people (close family, friends, or work colleagues)
  • having increased thoughts about your life not being worth living
  • excessive worry
  • feeling out of control or unable to cope
  • feeling anxious about leaving the house
  • hearing voices or seeing things that others can’t
  • thinking about harming

The Haven

The Haven is located in North Lincolnshire and is for anyone over the age of 16 who are experiencing mental distress.

Open 4pm to midnight, please leave a message.
