The multiple sclerosis specialist nurse service offers specialised assessment and support for patients diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS).
How we can help
Our MS nurse specialist service includes:
- nurse-led clinics for problem-solving, assessment, lifestyle advice, and support
- initiation and monitoring of disease-modifying treatments
- management of MS symptoms
- patient information programs and guidance toward other services
- advice and educational sessions for both professionals and patients
- availability of MS specialist nurses during consultant and multidisciplinary clinics
- prescriptions and advice on medication
How to get help
Your consultant neurologist can make a referral to this service for patients who have MS or clinically isolated syndrome.
