Safe space is our alternative crisis service in Doncaster, working in partnership with our statutory mental health team. Our approach to addressing mental health crisis in the community supported by a team with lived experience.
How we can help
Our journey towards mental wellness is a shared experience and we are here to support each person with open and honest communication, empowering a person to find the strength within themselves.
Recognising each person’s mental health journey is unique, we offer a range of specialised support. From one-to-one support, group activities and phone support, we strive to foster a sense of community.
It is a place you will be listened to and supported, putting plans in place. Taking a step back from the crisis situation and having time to think.
Non-urgent advice: How to get help
Referrals into safe space come through the Crisis team, the police, mental health and frontline ambulance service.
