The community tuberculosis nursing service offers specialised nursing care, guidance, and assistance to individuals, children, families, and caregivers undergoing treatment for active or latent tuberculosis.


How we can help

The service assists by identifying and conducting screenings for contacts in various environments who may require tuberculosis contact investigations, especially individuals and families from high-risk tuberculosis countries registering for the first time with a GP in Doncaster.

Additionally, they provide specialised advice and support to healthcare professionals in primary and secondary care regarding TB-related matters.
