Fibrosis Awareness Day

Thursday 25 September is Fibrosis Awareness Day. The respiratory specialist nursing service based at the Opal Centre, Tickhill Road site are running an event on the day from 10am to 4pm at the Community Hall, Woodfield Park.

Come along and meet and talk to the trust respiratory specialist nursing service as well as other services that you may be referred to when living with this condition.

The following services will also be available on the day:

  • physiotherapy, Pulmonary Rehabilitation team
  • telephone nursing service
  • talking therapies
  • and other professionals

Refreshments and light snacks will be available for a small donation. All monies donated will go to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust who support our patients.

There’s no need to book, you can just drop in and receive a warm welcome. There is access for wheelchairs and plenty of parking on site.
