Children in care

Located in Doncaster.

The Health and Wellbeing team for children in care consists of nurses and health visitors who work with children in care, care leavers, and their carers to promote health and wellbeing.


How we can help

We provide confidential advice and support on any issues affecting your health. We can provide support with any issues affecting the health of children and young people in care including:

  • keeping healthy
  • managing health conditions
  • emotional health and wellbeing
  • sexual health
  • drugs and alcohol
  • smoking

Non-urgent advice: How to get help

In Doncaster we do not accept self-referrals, patients are referred to this service by a professional. The phone contact for Doncaster provides advice and is not for referrals.

For existing referrals, we offer a drop-in session for young people and care leavers aged 13 and over on the first Thursday of every month, 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
