The children’s and young people’s attention deficit hyperactivity disorder post diagnostic service offer pharmacological and non-pharmacological support following diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

How we can help

During an introductory meeting, we will make a collaborative plan of care for your individual support needs.

The care plan could include:

  • psychoeducation of what ADHD means and the strengths of having ADHD and coping mechanisms
  • school liaison to help with environmental modifications at school
  • a discussion about how medication may help if suitable and medication review and titration clinic
  • emotional regulation support on a one to one and group basis
  • parenting meetings for help with understanding ADHD
