Non-urgent advice: How to get help
We offer autism assessments for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years across Rotherham, Doncaster and North Lincolnshire.
For ADHD assessments, age ranges depend on where you live:
- North Lincolnshire: ages 6 to 18
- Doncaster and Rotherham: ages 7 to 18
We only accept referrals from schools or education settings.
If a child or young person is electively home educated, referrals can be made by the Electively Home Educated team or Education Inclusion Services.
If a child or young person is not in education, employment or training (NEET), please contact us for further advice.
As part of the referral process, schools must complete the “Tree” form. This form must be downloaded and completed. The extra information should be filled in together by the school and the parent or carer.
We cannot accept referrals from parents, carers, young people themselves, or extended family members.
All people with parental responsibility must give their consent before a referral can be made.
If you have any questions or need advice about making a referral, please contact your local team to book a phone appointment.
