School age immunisations

The School Age Immunisation team comprises registered nurses and healthcare support workers dedicated to administering the national school-age immunisation programme in Doncaster.

Immunisation programmes are conducted in schools, with community clinics arranged for home-educated children and those who missed vaccinations in school. Home visits can also be arranged upon necessity.

How we can help

We administer the following adolescent immunisations:

  • HPV in school years 8
  • MenACWY and Td/IPV vaccine (Diptheria, Tetanus and Polio) to all children in year 9
  • MMR catch up

Additionally, we conduct the national flu programme for all primary school children. Year groups for flu vaccinations may vary annually.

How to get help

Your child’s school will receive the date when our team will administer vaccines.

The school will share an electronic consent form link with eligible parents for each specific vaccine.

Please complete and return the consent form to the school before the vaccination session.

If digital access is unavailable, request a paper consent form from the school.
