Specialist continence

Located in Doncaster.

The specialist continence service comprises a team of skilled nurses specialising in assessing and treating bladder, bowel and pelvic floor dysfunction.

How we can help

Our service is for patients experiencing issues with urinary urge and frequency such as:

  • stress incontinence
  • urinary leaks during coughs or sneezes
  • bowel complaints including loose stools or constipation

We provide advice, support, and tailored treatment based on the assessment outcome.

Do

  • accept patients over 18 years old
  • accept patients registered with a Doncaster GP
  • assess and treat bladder, bowel or pelvic dysfunction
  • provide catheter clinics
  • provide trial without catheters

Don't

  • do not accept patients under 18 years old
  • do not accept patients not registered with Doncaster GP
  • do not supply continence pads for short term use, urine or bowel infection, or just in case
  • do not supply continence pads for vaginal or rectal bleeding
