Specialist continence
Located in Doncaster.
The specialist continence service comprises a team of skilled nurses specialising in assessing and treating:
- bladder
- bowel
- pelvic floor dysfunction
Our service is for patients experiencing issues with urinary urge and frequency such as:
- stress incontinence
- urinary leaks during coughs or sneezes
- bowel complaints including loose stools or constipation
How we can help
We provide advice, support, and tailored treatment based on the assessment outcome.
Do
- accept patients over 18 years old
- accept patients registered with a Doncaster GP
- assess and treat bladder, bowel or pelvic dysfunction
- provide catheter clinics
- provide trial without catheters
Don't
- do not accept patients under 18 years old
- do not accept patients not registered with Doncaster GP
- do not supply continence pads for short term use, urine or bowel infection, or just in case
- do not supply continence pads for vaginal or rectal bleeding
Non-urgent advice: How to get help
Registering to use our online system also allows you to:
- contact our admin teams online and receive text or email responses
- cancel appointments online (if you are cancelling with less than 24 hours’ notice, please call us instead on 03000 218 996)
