Our specialised nursing team is highly trained in hepatitis C care and supports patients throughout their treatment journey across primary and secondary care settings, including local prisons.

Our nurses’ provide:

• consultant-led hepatitis C clinics
• clinics at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and prisons
• combined support with drug and alcohol services in the community
• community clinics
• phone support services

How we can assist:

• listening and addressing any concerns or queries regarding hepatitis C
• collaborating with other services involved
• educating patients and caregivers about hepatitis C
• managing side effects for those undergoing treatment
• providing support through phone consultations and medication prescribing
• assisting patients with poor venous access to blood draws
• monitoring the condition’s progress
