NHS Talking Therapies for long-term conditions
Located in Doncaster.
NHS Talking Therapies provides a specialised long-term conditions (LTC) service supporting adults who may experience symptoms of depression, anxiety, or stress, in the context of their diagnosed long-term health condition.
How we can help
We understand that living with a long term health condition can at times be challenging, overwhelming or scary and affect your wellbeing.
Stress, anxiety, or low mood may worsen physical symptoms, making management difficult. Understanding the mind-body connection can aid in managing these symptoms effectively.
Our service offers diverse treatment options, including face-to-face, phone, or virtual video appointments to ensure accessibility. Session length can be adapted to support individual needs.
We collaborate closely with other physical health teams, offering joint working appointments with healthcare professionals such as specialist nurses to address both mental and physical health needs comprehensively.
