Inpatient services

We are committed to providing the support patients need when they are admitted to our inpatient services and to their family and carers.

To help smooth the transition for patients on admission, we have created clear and concise informational leaflets for our adult and older people’s mental health inpatient services.

These answer many of the common questions that our patients have during their stay, including why are they being admitted, how we can help you, what are the facilities available to you and generally what to expect.

In addition, we provide leaflets for the family and carers of the patient to help assist them with such matters as when the visiting hours are, if there are any restrictions when visiting, and who to contact if they have any concerns about the patient and their care.

Adult mental health inpatient services

We run adult mental health inpatient services across multiple sites:

  • adult mental health unit which consists of Brodsworth, Cusworth and Skelbrooke wards
  • Swallownest court which consists of sandpiper, osprey, and kingfisher
  • Great Oaks mental health unit
