Simon Sheppard, Executive Director of Finance and Estates

Simon joined the trust in December 2025 as Director of Finance and Estates. He previously worked at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust as the Chief Finance Officer. Before that, he was the Director of Finance at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.

He has also held senior finance roles at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. Simon is a qualified accountant (CPFA) with the Institute of Chartered Public Finance and Accountancy.
